NOTARY SERVICES
Need a document notarized? At Diversified Tag & Title Services, all of our staff are commissioned notary public. We provide reliable, professional and convenient notary services whether you are handling important personal documents, business paperwork, vehicle documents, powers of attorney, affidavits or other documents requiring notarization.
No appointment necessary, however we break for lunch from 12 PM to 1 PM.
NOTARY SERVICES
A notary verifies the identity of the person signing a document and serves as an impartial witness to the signing when required. Diversified Tag & Title Services provides standard in-person notary services for a variety of documents. Bring your unsigned documents and a current, valid photo ID, along with any required witnesses.
FEES
- $8.00 for an original in-person notarial act,
- $4.00 for each additional notarial act for extra copies
CUSTOMER BRINGS
- Unsigned documents,
- Valid photo identification,
- Witnesses required (ages 18 years of age or older),
- Our notaries cannot serve as witnesses,
- Photo IDs must be current and in English.
EXCEPTIONS
Our notaries cannot perform notary services for . . .
- Mortgages or real estate transactions
- Employment verification (IRS form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification)
- Vital records themselves cannot be notarized; however, copies of these records can be notarized if they are accompanied by the original document
CAVEATS
- To ensure equitable service for all of our customers, we reserve the right to limit the number and length of documents which are to be notarized at any given time.
- If the customer’s document or circumstances of request for notary services raises any issues of authenticity, ambiguity, doubt, or uncertainty, the notary may at their sole discretion decline to provide notary service.
- Our notaries perform standard notary services that are completely separate from the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services that use fingerprinting for specific employment, licensing, or background check requirements.

Notaries at Diversified Tag & Title Services are not attorneys licensed to practice law in this Maryland. They are not allowed to draft legal records, give advice on legal matters, including immigration, or charge a fee for those activities.
